Alongside Huawei, the international car brand Audi also launched three blockbuster new cars named Q5L, A7L, and A6 e-Tron. In which, the A6 e-Tron stole the spotlight for its premium design and long battery capacity good enough to provide a 700-kilometer long drive.

After the launch ceremony, Michael Hofmann executive vice president of Audi R&D in China was interviewed by the media reporters.

While answering the future scope in Audi for autonomous driving technology he stated that in the future Audi can use Huawei’s autonomous driving technology.

To be mentioned, Che Dongxi was invited to ride Huawei’s ADS high-end autonomous driving solution. He really appreciates driving on the city roads.

Afterward, Su Qing, president of Huawei’s intelligent driving product line was also interviewed by Che Dongxi.

He informed that a major European brand had already signed a contract with Huawei to install Huawei’s ADS system on the latter’s domestic models. In addition, he didn’t disclose the company name.

Coincidentally, the Audi chief also hints that in the future we may see Audi using Huawei’s ADS. Looking at this fact, we can expect this anonymous “big European manufacturer” mentioned by Su Qing maybe Audi Group.

In this regard, the car also asked Hoffman at the scene. He burst into laughter instantly after hearing the problem, and it is likely to imply that Huawei has indeed reached cooperation with Audi.

“Huawei maybe Audi’s autonomous driving partner,” Hoffman said with a smile but gave much information about it. It’s worth looking, what model can Huawei and Audi come up with, if both the company will collaborate.
