Another Huawei ‘Ultimate Design’ smartphone coming soon

Huawei recently unveiled an iconic foldable PC in its Ultimate Design line, but it seems the company has a new smartphone in store for this category. The OEM is probably planning to expand its luxurious product line with another interesting device.

FixedFocus has shed light on the upcoming Huawei devices. As per details, the company may launch its 2nd tri-fold in September as Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design.

Meanwhile, the Mate 80 series will debut in the fourth quarter as the final dynamic product of this year. Amid these two devices, the phone maker could introduce another Huawei Ultimate Design smartphone.

The details of the mysterious Ultimate Design product are unclear. It could be a smartphone or the rumored foldable tablet. We need to hold our patience to know more about this device.

Huawei decided to rename “Porsche Design” to “Ultimate Design” in 2023 as its agreement reached to end. The journey of Porsche Design-tagged phones began in 2016 with Mate 9 Porsche Design. It remained exclusive to the Mate models.

Later, the company introduced the “Ultimate Design” as an ultra-high-end smartphone brand. It covers the premium smartphone segment, flaunting top materials, stylish designs, and powerful specifications. Devices in this segment are:

Now, the company is rumored to launch another Ultimate Design product in the market. It could be a new regular smartphone, a folding device, or any other handset.
