Android phones and iPhones are the giant names in the gadget world. Both terms are well-known for showing advanced and dynamic features onboard. But a recent tweet shows that the 2023 Android phones could be inspired by iPhone 15 Pro design.

Today, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared his thought about the next flagship iPhone models – iPhone 15 and 15 Pro. According to the analyst’s predictions, the respective high-end Apple phones will adopt solid power buttons and volume rockers.

For your information, these solid buttons would be similar to the ones we find on the iPhone 7, iPhone 8, and iPhone SE 2 and SE 3 models. This will include the Taptic Engines mechanism at the internal sides.

As a result, while pressing the volume or the switch buttons, the user will feel a solid physical touch on their device.

So far, the company was already using Taptic Engines. However, this structure will increase these engines from one to three units. This will make the initial components of the device significantly efficient and will make it more reliable.

“My latest survey indicates that the volume button and power button of two high-end iPhone 15/2H23 new iPhone models may adopt a solid-state button design (similar to the home button design of iPhone 7/8/SE2 and 3) to replace the physical/mechanical button design,” said Kuo.

Android will follow this design as well!

Further, the observer said that this design will not only remain in Apple’s pocket but will also revolve around Android phones. Probably, we could see the flagship Android phones embracing iPhone 15 Pro design on their surface.

Why so? Kuo said that as per assumptions, high-end Android devices will follow Apple’s footsteps in this case, to increase their market value. Ultimately, it would be a positive sign for the American manufacturer if it happens so.

Android following Apple – not a surprise!

It shouldn’t be a surprise to see Android walking on Apple’s path. We have seen several times, that Android manufacturers have taken some or other ideas from Apple. A good example could be the drop of the headphone jack from the devices.

Apple was the first to give up on the headphone jack mechanism. Although at that moment, various companies, including Google mocked the American tech maker. But things didn’t take much time to bring an overall change.

In 2017, the Pixel 2 series came into existence without a headphone jack. And soon, other tech giants also started following this trend.

Something similar is taking place with the eSIM technology. Again Apple is the one to start the eSIM thread. And no doubt, Android manufacturers will soon adopt this technology.

As of now, Kuo didn’t make any statement regarding which Android tech maker will be the first to showcase the iPhone 15 Pro design on their smartphone models. One name that pop-ups in the mind for a phone’s design is Samsung.

Consequently, Samsung phones are familiar to exhibit some eye-catching layouts. Thus, there are chances that we may find an-iPhone inspired look in the upcoming Samsung series. On the other hand, Google can also show this change in its Pixel 8 lineup.

Let’s see how the changes will go from Apple to Android devices.
