Android 16 could bring fascinating styles for the battery icon alongside UI changes. Yes, the upcoming software version can copy a significant feature from the Apple iOS to make your smartphone’s home screen more attractive than ever before.

MysticLeaks on Telegram has shared a set of new battery icon styles that might come with Android 16. Unlike the traditional layouts with sharp and straight flat lines, the latest icon shows a cute horizontal shape with rounded corners.

Even the current Android 16 beta shows a vertical-shaped battery icon at the corner of the status bar with straight lines and sharp corners, featuring white color throughout.

The battery percentage font is more recognizable than the previous software version. It appears inside the icon. Although the best part is the ‘indicator‘ capability in the battery icon. The feature will now reveal the battery level in a far better way.

As per the images, the battery icon now has four colors: Yellow, Red, White, and Green. These colors reflect the mode of your device’s battery. For instance:

  • Yellow: Energy Saver Mode
  • Red: Low Battery
  • White: Standby/In use
  • Green: Charging

As the battery level starts to get low, the current battery icon appears as a translucent white color on one side. But now you will see colorful changes in this icon.

The new battery icon gets a modern makeover with sleeker and colorful styles. It eases the way to see your battery level. A major credit goes to the Material 3 Expressive redesign that has made the battery icon more creative.
