Android 16 Beta 3 coming tomorrow, inches closer to stable release

Google is ready to unveil the Android 16 Beta 3 tomorrow. The company has found an interesting way to inform users about the upcoming testing build beforehand by dropping teasers. All you have to do is stay prepared for the next beta version.
Android Developers on X have announced the Android 16 Beta 3 launch for tomorrow. The company initiated the ‘one-day-before’ teaser strategy last month and will seemingly continue it for the upcoming Android software versions.
The X post reads:
“We’re dropping Android 16 Beta 3 tomorrow! Make sure to check back in here for the release.”
Pixel smartphone owners and Android developers can expect the new beta version rollout via OTA around 10 AM PT. Make sure to have enough storage space on your device and use a stable internet/Wi-Fi connection to install the upgrade.
Android 16 Beta 3 announcement further hints that the software is inching closer to its stable release. Google has confirmed that the new OS build will debut way earlier than expected. The official timeline is scheduled for June 2025.
Google introduced certain improvements and additions with the second beta of Android 16. As of now, the upcoming testing build is expected to drop some “user-facing” enhancements.
Inputs also reveal that the third beta can include “final APIs and behaviors”. Thus, there can be new features with the upcoming testing firmware. At the same time, we may get a “Beta 4” upgrade next month as the first release candidate version.
There’s still time before the stable Android 16 release. By that point, the company may launch some more testing versions, improving its new software to the best.
