Android 16 Beta 3.2

As Android 16 is approaching its stability platform, Google is releasing more new testing builds to fix existing issues and make the software a perfect version for its users. In the latest edition, the company has rolled out Android 16 Beta 3.2.

Google kicked off the Android 16 Beta 3 last month, raising the excitement for a stable release. But it seems, the company has yet to fix certain bugs and last-minute issues before announcing the official version of the new software upgrade.

Some Pixel users reported battery and haptic feedback issues found in the beta 3 update. The company has fixed these nasty bugs with the Android 16 Beta 3.2.

The latest version has a minor changelog, including fixes for faulty haptics, excessive battery draining, flickering of the screen while capturing photos or video, and more.

Google has also improved the device’s system stability and usability with the newest firmware. Beta 3.2 is rolling out with the BP22.250221.015 version for all eligible devices ranging from the Pixel 9 series to the Pixel 6. You can read the changelog below:

  • Fixed an issue that caused haptic feedback to be miscalibrated in some cases.
  • Fixed an issue that caused excessive battery drain even when a device wasn’t in use.
  • Fixed an issue for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices that sometimes caused the screen to flicker when taking photos or videos with the camera.
  • Fixed various other issues that were impacting system stability and usability.

Note that if you have enrolled your Pixel phone in the Android Beta for the Pixel plan, then it will automatically receive the new version via OTA. But if not, you can visit Settings > System > Software Updates > System Update > tap on Check for Updates and get the newest build manually.
