New Features: Android 16 Beta 2
US tech giant has enhanced the camera segment to a whole new level with the Android 16 Beta 2. It has added four major changes that offer pro-grade experience.
- Hybrid auto-exposure modes: These modes in Camera 2 enable users to manually control exposure features while letting the auto-exposure algorithm handle the rest.
- Precise color temperature and tint adjustments: Adds support for fine color temperature and tint changes for Pro-like video recording.
- Motion photo capture intent actions: Requests the camera app to capture a live photo and return it.
- UltraHDR image enhancements: Adds support for UltraHDR images in the HEIC file format. Developing AVIF support for UltraHDR.
These camera controls will enable users to experience a new photography level without making any major changes to the app. Other features include a customized measurement system, live wallpaper API content for developers, and more.
