Android 16 Beta 2.1 brings fixes to Doze mode and restart issues

Google is rolling out the Android 16 Beta 2.1 update for its Pixel devices with countable fixes. The company has tried to resolve the annoying bugs that have been troubling users either with a reboot or rough and unstable live wallpaper animations.
Android 16 Beta 2.1 update is rolling out with the BP22.250124.100 version and a package size of 11.60 Megabytes. It brings the February 2025 security improvements.
The major points in the latest changelog are four fixes. Google has fixed the Doze Mode defect. Doze Mode is generally a feature that puts your phone into a low-power state when it’s not in use. This small change improves the phone’s battery life.
However, some users reported that their device was unable to enter the deep sleep mode. Looks like the company has fixed this issue with the newest version. Google also fixed the live wallpaper animation and restart issues with the new build.

Devices like the Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel 8 series, Pixel 9 series, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet will get the new update in the coming days.
