One UI 4.0 (Samsung): Features

MUI 13 – Xiaomi

The next version of MIUI has its flavor of enhancements and customizations over Android 12. The upcoming MIUI 13, comes with a new user interface that has a clean appearance. 

MIUI 13 will also introduce a new virtual RAM expansion feature for the Xiaomi devices. There are also other optimizations made to the UI in terms of Control Panel, icons, animations, and improved power management for extended use cases.

ColorOS 12 – Oppo:

ColorOS 12 brings customization on top of Android 12. The latest version of Oppo’s custom Android brings a new UI style as well as redesigned icons, system animations, and emojis. These features are – FlexDrop, Smart Sidebar 2.0, Cross-Screen Interconnection feature, Car Screen Projection features, Omoji, Improved Animation, Improved privacy and security, Permissions reminder

This software is now will launch on October 11 for global users. The software is based on Android 12 and has already been released for the Chiese consumers on September 16, 2021.

OxygenOS 12: OnePlus

The OnePlus device owners are now testing the OxygenOS 12 beta first hand in the global market. Despite its new inheritance of Oppo.

Currently, the Android 12 beta for the OnePlus device is limited to the OnePlus 9 series and may soon expand for global consumers on other OnePlus models.

Realme UI 3: Realme

Next in line is the fastest-growing Chinese smartphone brand – Realme and its new Realme UI 3 based on Android 12. This new Realme software will unveil on October 13 officially but there’s already a set of features that has been appeared.

Realme UI 3.0 comes with a new user interface and a spaced UI similar to the ColorOS 12. The widgets have a sense of information but the quick settings panel as well seems a copy of EMUI 11.

October 12, 2021: ColorOS 12 Launched

On October 11, 2021: Oppo launched ColorOS 12, for global users, following its launch in the Chinese market in September. The Beta-testing for devices will begin with Oppo Find X3 and will expand from November to the second half of 2022. (via RPRNA)

October 11, 2021: Android 12 Rootless theme

XDA reports that there’s a lot that’s new in Android 12 including an addition to resource overlays called Fabricated Overlays, which helps the system to manage the dynamic changes used in Material You and monet, to take a better shape in Android 13, which will be introduced next year.

October 12, 2021: Android 12 At a glance reappearing

Android 12 users are waking up to weather At a Glance. According to 9to5Google, this feature is now rolling out via a server-side and cannot be manually triggered, but hopefully, wider availability is coming sooner than later.

October 13, 2021: Realme UI 3.0 launched

Realme has launched its latest custom software skin – Realme UI 3.0 based on the Android 12 operating system. It comes with a bunch of new features and will be available for Realme devices.

Samsung is rolling out the fourth One UI 4.0 beta update for the Galaxy devices, which brings a number of new changes, including fixes for issues where some menus were partially untranslated right after an update, Google AOSP reflected, overscroll effect changed from existing glow to stretch form. Furthermore. This One UI 4.0 beta also applies pet lighting effect, stabilizes color theme effect fixes keyboard shortcut issue, adds fixes for calling and texting on other devices.

October 21, 2021:

Well-known Weibo tipster – Digitalchatstation confirmed that Xiaomi MIUI 13 has been improved a lot and many parts of the user interface have also been changed with the new user experience. The base software is Android 11 and 12 versions.
