Alibaba Cloud brings DeepSeek AI services following Huawei, Microsoft

Alibaba Cloud is now following in Huawei and Microsoft’s footsteps, launching DeepSeek AI services on its platform. Users can enter the PAI Model Gallery to access the new Chinese artificial Intelligence models and other relevant AI LLM versions.
DeepSeek has become a major focal point in the AI world. The China-made AI model has defeated several foreign competitors like ChatGPT, Gemini, and more.
Now Chinese companies are trying to bring DeepSeek on their cloud techs to offer customers the latest AI benefits. After Microsoft, Amazon, and Huawei, Alibaba Cloud has made DeepSeek AI models available on its PAI Gallery for its clients.
PAI Model Gallery is a collection of pre-trained LLMs. It is an AI platform that enables users to access multiple ‘ready-to-use’ models for projects without training them.
If you are an Alibaba Cloud user, then log into the PAI Model Gallery. Select the DeepSeek AI models and use them for reasoning or text-based applications as needed.
Alibaba Cloud says:
“On (our) platform, users can achieve the whole process from training to deployment to inference with zero coding. It brings developers and enterprise users a faster, more efficient, and more convenient AI development and application experience.”

The PAI Model Gallery currently has DeepSeek V3 and R1. It also contains a few distilled versions of DeepSeek AI models like DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Qwen-7B.
Unlike ChatGPT and Gemini, DeepSeek provides open-source AI models that allow third-party developers to easily alter or modify the design without any interruption.
Huawei has also recently collaborated with the SiliconFlow company to adopt DeepSeek AI services via its Ascend Cloud platform. The company mentioned that the native model’s performance is at the part with the global GPU variants.
DeepSeek AI V3 and R1 models are impressing customers with their cost-effective and efficient performance traits. Although Microsoft and OpenAI are now exploring the tech used to make the ultimate AI models. How this situation proceeds would be worth looking forward to.
