AITO Wenjie M9 to launch along Huawei Mate 60 series

We’re preparing to witness the launch of the P60 series in the first quarter of this year but the Huawei Mate 60 series in Q4 will prepare a surprise launch of the new AITO Wenjie M9 model.

AITO is a collaborative brand of the Chinese car maker, SERES and Huawei, both of these companies already launched two EVs including AITO M5 and M7, and received a massive response from customers.

According to the information, AITO Wenjie M9 is jointly built by Huawei and SERES and under testing for a long time. This new car is categorized as an SUV and the price estimation is around 500,000 yuan.

A Weibo tipster classmate guan revealed that the new AITO Wenjie M9 could launch alongside the Huawei Mate 60 series in the fourth quarter of this year. Input on this matter reveals that Wenjie M9 is a full-size crossover SUV equipped with Huawei’s smart car solution and smart cockpit.

Past spy shots reveal that Wenjie M9 is one size larger than AITO M7. Meanwhile, the internal of the smart car is powered by HarmonyOS 3 operating system, with an in-car system provided and supported by Huawei technologies with many of the smart features at the service.

M5 Sales:

Past data reveals that AITO M5’s cumulative sales in 2022 surpassed 56,855 units, which is a major growth of 16,052 percent as compared to 2021.

This achievement led AITO among the top 10 new SUV sales list of 2022, ranking in 9th place and surpassing major Chinese automakers in the row. It also set a record for the fastest growth of a new brand in the smart EV market.

On January 13, 2023, AITO reduced the price of models including the M5 EV and M7 around 30,000 yuan in China.
