After Ding Yun, Wang Tao will serve as President of Huawei Enterprise BG

Huawei and its staff members are going through a tough time. The company lost one of its precious gems – Ding Yun on October 7. But, things must go on at every condition. Hence, Huawei selected Wang Tao as the new President of Enterprise BG.

Today, the Chinese manufacturer conducted an immediate personnel appointment to take some major decisions. With great honor and respect, Huawei gave the Enterprise BG lead to Wang Tao and made him President of the respective sector.

So far, Wang Tao has served as the prominent executive of the company. He has been the director of the ICT Infrastructure Business Management Committee. As of now, he will work specifically for the Enterprise BG segment.

Wang Tao and his journey in Huawei

Wang Tao joined Huawei Technologies cooperation in 1997. Apart from the director role, the personality has also remained as the Wireless R&D Manager, Vice President of UMTS International Product Marketing, President of Product Marketing in Europe, General Manager of Huawei Italy and Switzerland subsidiary, and more.

Further, Wang has made contributions to the network and marketing solutions of the company. Thus, considering the long-term and loyal relationship with the franchise, Huawei has decided to give the responsibility of the enterprise to his shoulders.

It’s worth mentioning that Huawei has divided its firm into three major groups. Operator, Terminal, and Enterprise Business. Alongside, it also comprises departments such as cloud, digital energy, and smart car solutions.

And Wang Tao will lead the future of the Enterprise department. In the first half of this year, the company was able to gain a revenue of 54.7 billion yuan [7.60 billion USD] with a yearly increase of 27.5 percent.

Though it’s a heartache moment for the company to deal with the despairing news of Ding Yun. But as the old phrase says, “the show must go on”, Huawei took the initiative to hand over the duty of the late executive to other staff members. Let’s see how the new President will take over the market.
