A mystery Huawei JUY-AL00 smartphone certified with 50MP camera

Huawei has recently certified a mysterious smartphone with model number JUY-AL00 and a 50MP rear main camera. The device has appeared on the TENAA certification database, revealing some key specs and an interesting back appearance.

The Chinese phone maker is currently busy with the flagship phone making. Ahead of that, a new 4G handset has been spotted online, suspected to be Enjoy 80.

Inputs reveal that a new mysterious Huawei JUY-AL00 smartphone has been certified with entry-level display and camera specs. Starting with the design, the device shows a single punch hole camera design on the front and sleek, slim edges.

Volume rockers and a power button appear on the left side (from the back), and an X button shows up on the right. The front part shows slightly thicker bezels, suggesting it as an entry-level handset. Although the back part sports a Pro-look.

As per the certified images, the back side has a Nova 10 SE-like camera module with two giant star-rings and a small LED flash on the side. The device seems to have a single rear camera. “HUAWEI” branding is visible at the bottom edge.

Specifications:

In terms of specifications, the device equips a 6.67-inch LCD panel with 720P resolution. The front has an 8MP selfie camera housed in a single punch hole, whereas the rear side holds a 50MP main camera. It features the HarmonyOS software system.

The charging details are unknown, although the phone packs a 6480mAh battery. Looking at the device parameters, many netizens speculated it to be the Enjoy 80.

Huawei unveiled the Enjoy 70X smartphone at the outset of this year. The Enjoy 70X ‘Plus’ is also in the pipeline and expected to launch later this month. Now, a new device listing on TENAA hints that the company is working on a new budget-friendly smartphone to boost the entry-level segment.

An early rumor suggested that Huawei will increase its low-to-midrange phone production by 13 million units this year. Alongside flagship products, the OEM will likely boost low-end phone manufacturing to expand its foothold in the market.

It would be worth seeing when the newly listed 4G handset officially debuts on the consumer ground.
