A Huawei Mate Xs 2 showing white line around the hinge

Huawei Mate Xs 2 smartphone is debuted in the market with an advanced design with a large screen real estate and a unique form factor, but soon after purchasing it many users are facing a white line issue on the screen with a change in display color.

As per the user’s report, the first batch of excited Mate Xs 2 collector’s editions is based on additional purchases of broken screen insurance. After 10 days of use, a faint white area appeared in the center of the screen from top to bottom, and the light was relatively dark. Send it to an authorized service center to have the problem checked.

On the other hand, although the problem is not clear at the moment if it persists for more than 15 days, the problem continues to increase. In particular, it was confirmed that the white lines on the screen became clearer and there was a clear color difference at both ends of the screen, especially in dark mode.

The smartphone display is the first to appear when operating it and this white line on the screen definitely annoys users a lot, over which the screen color flickering is another issue.

As per the review by the engineer, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 screen white line is normal, but as mentioned by the users after 15 days it goes darker and the screen color is also changed as per time.

The users are very disappointed as the after-sale services told them to use it first, without giving any promises or warranty of some period. The users also shared images to show how badly their screen is affected by the white line and different screen color change issues.
