Honor has recently launched its new smartphone – Honor Magic 4 Pro and its CEO, Zhao Ming has made a huge statement regarding this device as well as its current success in the Chinese market. He said that over 60 percent of the Honor Magic 4 phone consumers (base version) came from Apple and Huawei.

The Honor chief said that the Chinese phone makers are only shouting against Apple and Huawei in terms of brand and delivering promises and cannot reply with slogans. He added that Honor will chase Apple in terms of consumer satisfaction experience in different scenarios such as privacy and security as well as communication.

He further emphasizes that Honor has been long-standing in the smartphone business. Therefore, the rise in the high-end smartphone business has not been achieved overnight.

Slogans?

Following the recent year’s development, Huawei’s smartphone market has been shrunk due to the U.S. sanctions on important chip supplies and services. Therefore, the Chinese tech giant has faced severe changes in its smartphone market.

However, Huawei’s absence has left a big void for consumers, which has been highly beneficial for Apple in the past year. The last generation of the iPhone has seen a big jump in sales. Zhao pointed out that Many Chiense phone maker has been shouting to match the performance against Apple with their high-end devices and Honor is following the same patch but Honor definitely want to change Apple’s market dominance.

“In various fields, can you come up with an experience that surpasses Apple? This is not about raising your hand to shout slogans or waving your fist, but to be real. Therefore, we must benchmark Apple from the dimension of consumer experience, and It’s not a marketing method. The more the marketing shouts, the worse it will eventually fall, because when consumers get their mobile phones, if you over-market them, there will be backlash.” Said Zhao.
