He pointed out 5.5G has made three key signs of progress:

1. The standard rhythm is clear, 5.5G has started the process of standardization and continues to enrich the technical connotation of 5.5G. Towards a consensus;

2. Breakthroughs in key technologies have been made, and the ultra-large bandwidth and ultra-large antenna array have verified the 10G capability;

3. The IoT panorama is clear, and the three IoT technologies supported by 5.5G, NB-IoT, RedCap, and Passive IoT, have Going forward, we have the ability to incorporate all the Internet of Things.

“The communications industry is constantly evolving. 5.5G has been kicked into high gear. Looking ahead, our task is to tackle these five new areas – standards, spectrum, products, ecosystems, and applications. Together, let’s stride to 5.5G and build a better, intelligent world,” wrote Wang.
