4G Huawei P60 fight against iPhone, ranks 4th in the top 10 high-end seller

Huawei P60 has become the 4th most-sold high-end smartphone in China, surging the price above 3500 yuan while competing against iPhone.

Market researcher Canalys shared the data for the second quarter of 2023 for China’s high-end smartphone market, which prices over 3500 yuan. The sale trends with over 21.8% year-over-year market share and accounts for 30% of the overall smartphone shipment in the country.

The top 10 sellers are:

  3. iPhone 14
  4. Huawei P60
  5. iPhone 13
  6. Xiaomi 13
  7. Honor 90 Pro
  8. OPPO Find X6
  9. iPhone 14 Plus
  10. Huawei Mate 50

Among these, Huawei has ranked in fourth place after iPhone 14 series and is the only company to rank in the top 5. However, Xiaomi and others are also in line in the top 10 including the Mate 50 from last year.

Canalys notes that China’s smartphone market shipment declined by 5% year over year to 64.3 million units. The researcher also mentioned that Chinese smartphone buyers are increasingly willing to buy high-quality products. The latest states reflect in the report that the average selling price of a smartphone exceeded $450 last year, which could rise further in the coming quarters.

Huawei P60:

Huawei P60 is the only phone in the tally that comes with 4G only internet access along with its counterpart Mate 50. Amid the network limitations, Huawei is selling this phone well against full 5G competitors in the home ground

The main attraction of the phone is its unique design, better software, and powerful camera technologies. IDC also reports that the company is the second top flagship phone seller in China for the second quarter of this year. Despite having several challenges in the supply chain, the tech maker keeps on going against the trends.

The 4th ranking of Huawei P60 in the high-end smartphone market shows that the efforts are paying well.
