Rumor: A new Huawei phone on radar, Kirin 980+60 MP Cameras and 1TB storage option

According to the sources, Huawei has recently planned a phone specification that has been leaked-out and by the specs, it looks like the company has decided to create a new Camera+Performance phone although the phone’s identity is unconfirmed.

Let’s talk about the specs, This phone features a 6.2-inch QHD display with the resolution of 2960×1440, powered by the upcoming Huawei powerhouse SoC Kirin 980 which will be the best 7nm technology available on the market form Huawei.

From the previous exposure of the data, the processor’s overall performance may surpass Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 855 processor.

This phone will be boasting memory with 6GB/8GB RAM (DDR5 unconfirmed) and the internal storage is 128GB/256GB/512GB, which is expandable up to 1024GB through microSD card.



The most surprising spec about this phone does not feature any three camera setup instead it features a dual camera setup one with 40MP+20MP Lieca cameras and a LED flash aligned vertically. for the selfies it features 24MP camera(lieca unconfirmed), a fingerprint scanner is also placed below the rear camera setup.

Next comes it’s designed specs the phone will come with no ‘Notch’ head, acquires borderless edges (curved screen unconfirmed) and gonna adapt head and chin, the bottom border of the phone is extremely narrow and completely negligible.

The adaptation of head and chin may be due to considering the safety and aesthetics of the mobile phone. The width of the upper border is just enough to hold one camera.



As for the identity, the phone is being called ‘Huawei Mate X’, the device specs and this identity are still unconfirmed so take it as a nickname and an in-development product until an official statement comes out from the company.

This phone is believed to be positioned in the mid-range flagship business and could become the best flagship of Huawei’s 2018 device list. Recently a phone has appeared online as ‘Mate 20‘ and claimed to be Mate series’ biggest ever variant.

The Mate 20 phone features a massive 6.9-inch display and geared with Kirin 980 and a Triple Lieca rear camera setup. With these phones in hand, Huawei could revamp the Mate series.
