Huawei Mate 50 (DCO-AL00) certified with 66W charger
Recently, a new Huawei phone has passed China’s compulsory certificate with model – DCO-AL00, it’s expected that this model could be the upcoming standard Huawei Mate 50.
According to the listing, the DCO-AL00 has a 66W charger (11VDC, 6A), while it also supports 40W (10VDC, 4A) as well as 10W charging (5VDC, 2A). The phone also has 4G LTE connectivity. However, the certificate doesn’t have much to reveal on other specs o the smartphone.
Previously, Huawei certified three models – BNE-AL00, DCO-AL00, and CET-AL00 via TENAA authority. However, the BNE-AL00 has been speculated to be the Huawei Mate 50 (standard), while the rest of the two follows the Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS respectively.
Since Huawei derives RS devices from the Pro model. The DCO-AL00 could be the standard Huawei Mate 50 and the CET-AL00 could appear as the Pro as well as the RS device.
A report also reveals that the BNE-AL00 belongs to the Huawei Nova 10 SE, which is yet to be launched by the Chiense company.
Huawei Mate 50:
The standard Huawei Mate 50 is reported to come with a flat panel display with a hole punch design on the top center of the screen. The front will have a powerful selfie camera as compared to the past generations.

Furthermore, the phone lineup will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen series processor with a new ISP to enhance images and flow in more quality and power in consumers’ hands.

Huawei delayed Mate 50 release to confront iPhone 14: Tipster
Huawei is making every possible effort to bring a bunch of surprises with the Mate 50 series. In the past few weeks, even we have heard thousands of words regarding the new implementations that the company is making over the flagship model. However, users have waited a long while to catch the first glimpse of the Huawei Mate 50 series, but the series has been delayed due to iPhone 14.
Yes, you read it right. That comes straight away from the famous Weibo blogger @FactoryDirectorShiGuan that has drawn out attention to his suspicious post. Consequently, the tipster revealed that Huawei has delayed Mate 50 series as initially it has to confront Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14.
You might be wondering how Apple came into all this stuff. Well, as per the report of the blogger, the Chinese manufacturer is trying its level hard to compete with Apple in every manner. The company has initiated some of the best techs in the Mate 50 devices to make them one of the best smartphone products in the market.
Previously, Huawei was lacking behind Apple in the hardware aspect. Comparatively, the Chinese tech maker has slightly less reactive hardware components than Apple. But this year, things have taken a U-turn for the company.
New Technologies, Better Features
In the latest developments, the company has not only made improvements in the hardware section but also uplift the software experience for its users. Alongside, it has also imposed some high-quality technologies such as the XMAGE that will bring photography skills to a new level.
In short, if we look at the Mate 50 series, it is fully eligible to stand and share the same bar with Apple.
Apart from these tugs, the tipster also states that the company has begun its preparation for the recording of the Mate 50 series conference. And as per the hearsay, this is going to be a huge event and will bring several benefits for Huawei at its doorsteps.
However, 5G is a field that Huawei Mate 50 series may come to a slowdown against iPhone 14 along with the chipset but the company will surely put a good fight.
Huawei P60 and Mate 60 series launch next year: Tipster
Yes, Huawei could launch the P60 and Mate 60 series next year. The latest input is coming from a well-known Weibo tipster – Classmateguan, which shows that the company will be returning to the dual flagship launch tradition in 2023.
According to the information, the company may launch Huawei P60 series in the first half of 2023 around March-April. On the other hand, the Huawei Mate 60 series will debut in the second half of the year around September-October.
If happens, the launch of the Huawei P60 and Mate 60 series would be a huge gesture from Huawei to make a return in the smartphone market and increase its presence, which has been reduced over the past two years.
Currently, the plan of launching the Huawei P60 and Mate 60 series together is under consideration. Therefore, it remains unconfirmed whether the plan will be implemented next year.
On the other hand, the news remained unconfirmed via official sources but we’re surely not in hurry to confirm it. Furthermore, the tipster has not revealed any specific details or the specification of each device.
In 2021, Huawei launched only one traditional flaghip smartphone – the P50 series and for the first, it is forced to break the tradition of announcing two flagships together. Then, the company continued to focus on other consumer-based products as well as the software side such as HarmonyOS. In the meantime, Huawei has also introduced various new smart wearable devices and as well as smart car technologies.
What was the issue?
Since the U.S. entity list in 2019, Huawei was facing extreme supply chain issues to gather important smartphone components. These lead to low smartphone manufacturing and reduced smartphone launches. The effect has been seen on the flagship part as well, and the company has to temporarily halt the dual flaghip launch strategy.
The tipster also relates that the latest P60 and Mate 60 release could be possible after the Chinese tech maker has resolved most of its supply chain issues.
